Check out these boots:
They’re real suede. With a cozy furry lining. Beautiful color, too – the photo doesn’t really do it justice. So would you believe they’re… Crocs?
Yes, Crocs like the gardening shoes and sandals. I get that most people don’t think of this brand first thing when they’re thinking about boots for winter for mom or for the kids but hear me out. The Crocs company has changed a lot since people were buying up those ultra comfortable clogs at airport kiosks way back when – now they have offerings for every season, every look, and for the whole family.
Like my daughter’s new Blitzen boots! They have a toasty fleece lining and can be worn with the liner flipped up for warmer ankles on colder days. I would have chosen the Gust boots for her but she knew what she liked. Or my new Adela boots – which have elastic at the calf so they can be pulled right over the thick fuzzy socks I’ve been wearing ever since the outside temps dipped to wintertime numbers. Not to be snarky, but there are all kinds of Crocs for the people who have always claimed that they just don’t like Crocs.
Both of these Crocs styles – plus all the other winter varieties as far as I know – have the super bouncy and comfy Croslite soles that made the original gardening shoe so popular. They’re also super lightweight compared to most winter boots and shoes. Have you ever stomped around because your snowboots were so heavy or watched your little one clomping around the pavement because they could hardly lift their feet in their boots? That’s not going to happen in Crocs – they’re warm but not at all heavy.
Plus, they’re cute! Check it out:
So cute! But also pretty cool:
I’ve been wearing my Adela boots for school drop off and pick up since fall, having fun asking my local mom friends to guess what brand they are.
Most people just don’t know that Crocs even has winter boots (or fun heels and flats or great leather options for the dads) but I promise you that the brand is definitely worth another look if you’ve been thinking they’re just for summer!
As part of our Ultimate Winter Giveaway, Crocs is offering one lucky mama $150 to spend on Crocs for herself and her fam! So enter to win (while checking out some other amazing prizes) and then swing by Crocs.com to check the styles out for yourself!
